The Action G.A.N.G: From a 2016 Idea to a New Indian Global Animation IP

Some IPs are created in a year. Some take a decade to truly find their identity.

Today, we are proud to share another first look at The Action G.A.N.G – Grandma & Next Gen, a brand-new original IP from Bhooshan’s Junior.

A journey that began in 2016

The idea behind Action G.A.N.G began almost 10 years ago, in 2016—well before Bhooshan’s Junior officially started its journey.

What started as a simple idea has gone through years of creative exploration, multiple iterations, different artists, evolving character designs and fresh storytelling approaches. Ten years later, the IP is now at the final stage of pre-production, getting ready to take this universe to the next level.

Meet Grandma and the Next Gen heroes

A few months ago, the team revealed the Grandma—the central, standout character of this universe.

Today, we are introducing the Next Gen heroes: the young characters who will share this world with Grandma and drive the adventure forward. Together, they form The Action G.A.N.G and represent a fun, high-energy mix of generations, styles and personalities.

Rooted in India, ready for the world

What excites us most is that Action G.A.N.G is deeply rooted in an Indian sensibility, yet designed with a global narrative ambition.

Technology, production models and platforms keep evolving, but one thing remains at the heart of every successful IP: storytelling.

Behind this single poster are months and years of creative thinking, refinement and the tireless work of our creative and production teams. This first look is just the beginning of a larger world being built for audiences everywhere.

We are planning the first teaser unveiling of Action G.A.N.G at the Animation & More Summit 2026 by AnimationXpress in Mumbai, on 28–29 August 2026.
